STATEMENT

My work as a ceramic artist centers on the intersection of function and artistic expression. I am deeply engaged with the tactile and transformative nature of clay, creating pottery and sculptural forms that are both practical and thought-provoking. Each piece is designed to elevate the mundane, bringing intentionality and artistry into daily rituals.

Through the exploration of form, texture, and color, I aim to challenge conventional expectations of functional ceramics. My pieces often evoke a sense of playfulness, yet they are rooted in careful craftsmanship and utility. By balancing these elements, I seek to create objects that invite not only use, but also reflection on the relationship between the object and its user.

In my work, the utilitarian becomes a vessel for artistic dialogue, blurring the boundaries between art and function while encouraging a deeper appreciation for the handmade in everyday life.
